Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Between 5.48pm and 5.58pm on Monday 29 June in Watnall Road, Hucknall, a white male teenager, medium build, wearing a black Slazenger/Puma tracksuit and a black balaclava ran out of the front door of a flat, pushing past the returning owner. Draws in the kitchen had been rummaged through and a wallet and rings were stolen. Burglary Other At 4.06am on Monday 29 June at the Co-op Food Store, Watnall Road, Hucknall, two white males wearing face masks forced the front door with a crowbar and entered the shop. A hammer was used to try and open the tobacco cabinet and tills were opened using a screwdriver and cash was stolen. One was wearing a black jacket, black cap, gloves, blue jeans and grey trainers; the second was wearing a black jacket, red gloves, dark blue jeans and black trainers. Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft A report at 9.38am on Tuesday 30 June from Papplewick Lane, Hucknall of copper piping being stolen from the rear garden of a house where an extension was under construction. Some was stolen approximately three weeks ago and it was noticed on Monday 29 June that the remainder had gone. Violence against person Between 5.00pm and 5.15pm on Sunday 28 June at the NET tram stop, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, the caller with her two children got off the tram and was followed by a male who said he was going to kill the kids. She hurried away and went to the Station Hotel, Station Terrace, for help. She had to push the male away to get in through the gate into the outside seating area where customers escorted the male away and back to the tram stop. The attacker was described as a white male, around 60 years old, dishevelled possibly homeless, and seemed drunk or on drugs. Around 8.50pm on Wednesday 1 July in Washdyke Lane, Hucknall, a female was attacked by another female who punched her in the face following an altercation about their dogs which they were walking in Dob Park. The attacker returned and further threatened to stab the victim in the heart. The attacker was described as white, blonde, fat, wearing shorts and Converge trainers Criminal Damage Between 11.30pm and Midnight on Saturday 27 June in Wenlock Drive, Hucknall, a road sign was thrown at a front door cracking the glass. Between 3.50pm and 4.20pm on Sunday 28 June at Peppers Family Convenience Store, Watnall Road, Hucknall, three young males wearing green hats damaged a table by jumping on it, knocked over some bins and threw a plastic bottle at staff. They also made threats and threatened to spit at staff. They rode off on scooters down Storth Avenue. Between Sunday 28 June and Wednesday 1 July at St. Johns Church, Nottingham Road, Hucknall, windows on the south side of the building were damaged. At 9.35pm on Monday 29 June in Lovesey Avenue, Hucknall, a report of a quad bike being ridden by a 40ish year old male revving the engine along with seven e-bikes being ridden by 15/18 year old teenagers doing wheelies. They were also ridding through a landscaped and tree planted area between Lovesey Avenue and Dorey Way, damaging the bark on some of the trees ASB At 9.30pm on Thursday 25 June in Aerial Way, Hucknall, a report of builders rubble being fly tipped from a small white van outside the Hucknall Football Club ground.
